Mallory Kovit

Program and Engagement Director

Mallory graduated from Stony Brook University in 2012 with a degree in 20th Century Global History and has been with Hillels of Westchester since 2015.  After graduation, she worked full time as a legal assistant at a law office on Long Island, and during this time became certified as a yoga teacher and birth doula.  Mallory has been practicing yoga for over ten years and has taught yoga to people of all ages and backgrounds.  She has had the unique privlege to be present and in service to women in labor and see babies and parents connect in the most transformative way.  If you ever want to talk about how rad birth is and how powerful women are, you have found a match.

Mallory is inspired by Jewish identity and loves the Hillel movement for its dedication to pluralism, inclusion, and making friendships.  As an undergrad she worked as a Peer Network Engagement Intern for Stony Brook University Hillel, and feels overjoyed to supervise intern teams now as part of her role as a Hillel professional with HOW.
