Program Director Catherine Schwartz moves on.

We are sharing the news that Catherine Schwartz, Program Director of the Hillels of Westchester, will be leaving Hillel on June 20, 2013. Beginning this Fall Catherine will attend graduate school at NYU Wagner-Skirball. This three-year program will allow her to earn a Masters in Public Administration with a specialization in management and a M.A. in Hebrew and Judaic Studies.  We are so proud of Catherine for this accomplishment, her fellowship and her long-lasting commitment to Jewish non-profits.

Hillel has benefited from Catherine’s intelligence, creativity, cooperation, can-do attitude, and strong work ethic. She has forged strong bonds with faculty, staff, students, and the greater Westchester community. We will certainly miss her.

During her two years on the Hillel staff, Catherine has planned three successful Taglit-Birthright Israel trips, trained and developed our student leadership, broadened our range of programming and continued to help students connect to their Jewish identities.

We wish Catherine all the best in her new endeavors, and we are grateful for her wonderful service to the Hillels of Westchester.
