an eight week, tailor-found internship experience in either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Students interested in high-tech, business, advocacy, social work, politics, research and other nonprofit fields will have the opportunity to be placed within top organizations that fit their professional needs and interests. Applications close March 15, 2016.


Students will participate in pre and post-programming in New York before the trip. One day a week in Israel will be dedicated to educational programming, consisting of interactive programming, site visits, encounters with Israelis and experiential activities. 

  • Applicants must be a student with a permanent New York address in  the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, or Westchester OR they must be a student at a campus in the five boroughs of New York, Long Island, or Westchester.
  •       Students must have been to Israel before on Birthright or a similar short-term trip.  Students that have spent more than three months living, participating on an organized trip, or gap year are ineligible. 
  •       Eligible applicants must not have graduated 12th grade from a Jewish Day School or Yeshiva.
